Adjunct Assistant Professor of Global Health, School of Global Public Health – 01/2022 to present
- Fully revised and updated the course syllabus and course assignments for the graduate section on Accelerating progress towards the health-related Sustainable Development Goals. A core course for the NYU Masters of Public Health program, it teaches students to apply systems thinking principles within a rigorous analytical framework, and identify feasible policies for durable improvements in the effectiveness, quality and efficiency of services.
- Member of NYU GHP academic advisory panel, revising the syllabus and content of the MPH core curriculum. Developed new courses employing innovative and participatory adult learning methods.
- Develop critical thinking skills of students, with specific emphasis on the areas of quantitative and qualitative assessment of financial, operational, policy and other contextual elements that impinge on equitable access to health services.
- Teach Foundations of global health, Accelerating Progress towards the Health Related SDGs, and other MPH courses.
